Hi Everyone! My name is Dr. Lindsey Voeltz, and it sure is a pleasure to meet you! I'd like to tell you my chiropractic story to allow you to see how I joined into the wonderful world of chiropractic care. I'm a little silly so it makes sense that my focus in practice is centered around pregnant mommas and kiddos, because who can resist all of those fun moments with kiddos! Pregnant mommas have that certain radiance about them that just screams beauty and I want to help them continue that radiance without the stubborness of pain and discomfort, because they truely are amazing to be able to grow another human being inside of them! WOW!

During highschool, I broke & trained young colts and participated in cheerleading & dance, so needless to say I've had a lot of bumps and bruises along the way. As active as I was, my pelvis and spine would always get knocked out of aligment and would cause me pain and discomfort. This was especially true when I had gotten bucked off one of those colts and couldn't ride for a week! I truely belive what has gotten me this far is chiropractic care, because I went religiously during those active years. It allowed me to function at my best and be able to keep doing those activities! After I graduated from K-State University, I was in a bit of a rut on deciding what career route to take, so I started looking back on my life and what I really enjoyed. I've always loved to help people and what better way than to help them optimize their own health as I experienced so many times! I decided to go to Cleveland University - KC in the fall of 2012 and started my jouney. Four years later I have graduated and am excited to start my own practice to help patients. During my time at Cleveland, I not only studied chiropractic, but I dabbled in some other theapies as well. I am now certified in 100 hours of Acupuncture, Fascial Movement Taping (FMT - Rocktape) Levels 1 & 2, numerous types of physiotherapy, and Webster Technique certified. I am also currently getting my 200 hour certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) for my pregnany and pediatric specialty.

During my seminars with the ICPA, one of my favorite seminars happened to be called the Pediatric Alphabet Soup and was centered around developmental delays in children, such as Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), etc. This seminar resonated with me so much that it impacted my views and essentially gave me my "WHY" I do what I do and really called me to this special area of chiropractic! These kiddos need some extra help to better their lives, and if I can help them, I feel it would be neglectful of me to not help.

So now you know my chiropractic story, but I would absolutely LOVE to hear yours! If you haven't had a chiropractic story and are interested in adding one to your collection, contact us today at Oak Creek Chiropractic so that we may assist in your addition!
